The Caroline Can! campaign has been so successful, and Caroline’s recovery is so positive, that we’re taking our fundraising to the next level. Starting in 2010, our Caroline Can! triathlon team will participate in several racing events in the Knoxville area, and Caroline will be participating!! She will not just be along for the ride—she will be working.

We have commissioned specially designed equipment that will allow Caroline to complete the events with her brothers as a relay team. She will participate in the swim, and then she will help pedal a three-person bike, and the bike will then convert into a cart for her to pedal as Jay and Reid run along side her. 

In addition to Caroline’s participation, numerous friends, family members, and other supporters will be out to race in the 2010 Rev3 and cheer Caroline on! Caroline’s parents, Susan and David, will be part of a 3-person relay that will compete in the triathlon.  In addition, numerous friends, including many of Caroline therapists, from Knoxville, Clemson, and DC will be racing.  We hope to have over 25 people racing and supporting Caroline Can! during the 2010 Rev3, and even more than that when Caroline competes in the Rev3 Knoxville half-ironman in May 2011.

We are really excited about this next phase of the campaign, and we know it will help raise awareness of our cause and Caroline’s amazing story.
